Coordination of Afghan Relief

Coordination of Afghan Relief (CoAR) is a national NGO stablished in September 1989. The organization started its Operation with emergency and relief program to the refugees in Pakistan and cross border services in Afghanistan in the field of Agriculture, Rural, Engineering, Livestock, Primary Health and Education. CoAR is the legally registered with MoEC THE IRoA Later in the early 2000 the organization expanded its activities To more than 20 provinces in Afghanistan in the field of

Agriculture, Rural Engineering, Education, Disaster Risk Reduction, Media and Capacity building Programs.

CoAR is member of ACBAR, ANCB, AWN, and at the Regional level CoAR is member of Asian Disaster Reduction and Response Network (ADRRN). CoAR is the member of HAP and CIVICUS, recently CoAR is the member of civil society Advisory Committee (CSAC) for UNDP.

Strengthening and promoting of Humanitarian and development activities of the society through undertaking of varying projects and preparing grounds in which the people are empowered to improve their living standards.

CoAR is widely involved in both Humanitarian and development activities such as Emergency Response, Disaster Risk Reduction, Agriculture, Livestock, Health, Irrigation and WASH, Engineering, Formal and Informal Education, Vocational training, Evaluation & Monitoring etc.
